Altoids - Ginger Tin - 1.76 oz. Review

The first original curiously strong mints date all the way back to 1780, when they were created by the London-based company Smith & Company - their charter was signed by King George III! In the nineteenth century, Smith & Company was purchased by Callard & Bowser, Inc., and in the twentieth century Callard & Bowser was acquired by the American firm Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. But, through it all, Altoids have survived, a never-ending tradition of excellence!

Now, the Altoid brand has been enlarged to include these wonderful ginger mints. A long time ago I found that ginger helped me with motion sickness, well, imagine my surprise when I found out that these snappy little ginger mints help that out as well. Overall, I really like these candies. Yes, they are strong, and quite gingery - if you are not a fan of ginger, then you probably will not like them. As for me, I think they are great!

This is what my son wanted, but could not believe how much the shipping was.I paid more than what the item cost, that was disappointing.

Ran across Ginger Altoids without "meaning to."

Looked at local supermarkets for them, with no luck. Ordered them from Amazon, and a day later managed to find them in a specialty store nearby.

If you love the flavor of ginger, you'll be ever so grateful for these Altoids! Ask around your neighborhood shops for them...ask that they be added to the inventory provisions.

These little buggers will bring a smile to your tastebuds and a welcome warmth to your tummy!
